  • Board Member

    Keith has a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Design from the University of California and a Master of Architecture from the Yale University Graduate School of Architecture. He is a retired Architect with over 55 years of experience managing projects of varying types from adaptive reuse of existing buildings, multifamily residential, commercial retail stores, to new medical instrument office and manufacturing facilities. Construction types varied from wood framed residential to steel framed/metal skinned structures similar to the Cambridge Community Center. Keith will apply his architectural and management skills to lead a facilities committee that will deal with maintenance and repairs needed to keep the CCC’s building envelope weather tight and energy efficient. Work on improving acoustics so the facility will allow use by more diverse programs. Additionally Keith will address methods to flood proof the gymnasium level of the facility. Longer term tasks will be site planning for exterior expansion of the outdoor sports spaces, and renovation of the existing “dorm building” to house community meeting spaces, after school programs, and meeting rooms for seniors.

  • Treasurer, Chair of the CCC Acquisition Campaign

    Jamie is an experienced financial strategist and entrepreneur with more than 15 years of leadership in accounting, business management, and systems development for small organizations. She holds an MBA and serves as CEO of a seven-figure consulting company that helps small businesses streamline operations for sustainable growth. Jamie’s accounting background brings a strong foundation of fiscal responsibility and financial literacy to Cambridge 360, supporting the stewardship, budgeting, and reporting requirements associated with the NBRC grant. Originally from a small town in Oregon, Jamie experienced firsthand the power of community involvement through her parents’ volunteer work and local leadership, values that inspired her to give back when she and her family moved to Cambridge, Vermont. As a parent and active participant in numerous Cambridge Community Center programs, she understands the center’s vital role in fostering connection, recreation, and belonging for residents of all ages. Jamie’s combination of financial expertise, entrepreneurial experience, and commitment to community development uniquely positions her to strengthen Cambridge 360’s capacity for long-term sustainability. She brings skills in financial oversight, strategic planning, fundraising, marketing, and operational efficiency, ensuring that the organization can responsibly manage grant funds while building awareness and engagement across the broader community.

  • Board Member

    Ellen’s skills include strategic planning and implementation, grant writing, program planning and management, public speaking, and change-making. She holds a bachelor’s in Small Business Management and a master's in Educational Leadership and is a graduate of the Vermont Leadership Institute. She has been the Executive Director of Lamoille County of United Way and managed the organization set by the Board of Directors. In this role she collaborated with numerous local and statewide organizations, businesses, and faith communities to foster community assets for the common good. For thirty years she worked at Johnson State College. Her roles varied from adjunct faculty, creating the Center for Service Learning, developing the Nonprofit Management and Leadership certification program, and enhancing a college-wide internship program. In her work, she fostered community partnerships and supported student leadership through shared planning, development and implementation of community service projects. She created and implemented “Break Away”, providing immersive experiences where students work in community based service projects and prepare them to become catalysts for positive social change and lifelong active citizens. She served in Jamaica as a small business management specialist with the U.S. Peace Corps and was a community development technical trainer with the Peace Corps in the Solomon Islands. Ellen’s passion to keep the CCC alive is simple. We need a center to build community.

  • Interim President

    Sharon is a strategic leader with over 30 years of experience in entrepreneurial, mission-driven environments, primarily in education. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English and a master’s degree in learning technologies and instructional design and development. Currently the Director of a national nonprofit network of schools, Sharon excels at taking loosely defined ventures and establishing them as successful, sustainable operations. Her background includes all aspects of program and project management and delivery for school districts and nonprofit organizations. She has experience in strategic planning, fundraising, talent acquisition and development, public-private partnerships, communications, sales, event planning, technology, and public speaking. She also previously served as board vice-president for a small, growing church in Austin, TX. Fostering inclusive environments and co-designing solutions that benefit diverse members of a community is a focus for her, and she is fluent in Spanish. Sharon is particularly passionate about saving the CCC because of the specific need for women to lift heavy weights as they age, and because of how hard that is to do at home. In her spare time, she runs, skis, hikes, and rock climbs.

    A retired college professor, Nanci has extensive experience in program and curriculum development, financial management and operationalizing grant funded initiatives. She is driven by a passion for improving access and participation in community activities that enhance health and wellbeing. Nanci holds a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy and an MBA from SUNY Buffalo, uniquely blending clinical expertise with business acumen. In designing and implementing innovative community-based programs, Nanci has worked with diverse populations to foster inclusive environments where all individuals can thrive. Her approach centers on creating collaborative partnerships and adapting best practices to meet the unique needs of each person and community. Over her career, Nanci has successfully launched and evaluated multiple initiatives that increase meaningful engagement in health-promoting activities, addressing barriers and promoting justice. Her strengths lie in strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and outcome-driven evaluation, ensuring programs deliver sustained impact. Nanci is deeply committed to empowering individuals and communities to take an active role in their health journeys, and her work consistently reflects a dedication to evidence-based practice and continuous improvement. With the successful acquisition of the CCC Nanci aims to help turn the current loosely structured “virtual senior center” into a rich series of senior and multigenerational place based opportunities for engagement. Her vision is to create lasting pathways to health and community for all.

    Lo holds a master’s degree in global studies and international relations and has worked as a business development professional for almost a decade. Lo has experience in project management, stakeholder and partner engagement, and supporting large-scale proposals for donor funded initiatives, resulting in significant wins and revenue generation. In her current role as Director of Major Giving for one of Vermont’s area agencies on aging, she strategically applies fundraising best practices and relationship-building to drive organizational sustainability and growth. Lo is always eager to lend her skills and expertise—along with a dash of creativity—to mission-driven initiatives within her community. As a board member for C360, she is honored to be part of an organization that strives to make a measurable difference in its rural community. C360’s mission fuels her passion to give back to her community and ensure her friends, family, and neighbors have access to a shared, communal space and recreational services through the Cambridge Community Center.

  • Current Owner and Advisor

    As a long-time local resident and physician, John heard many of his older patients say there was no good place in town where they could exercise after dark or on slippery roads. In 2014 he became co-owner of the CCC, where he has continued to work providing managerial and strategic oversight, assisting with financial operations, and managing general maintenance and repair work. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Biology from the University of Colorado and an MD from Dartmouth Medical School. He has had a 40-year career as an emergency and family physician, and continues to work at the University of Vermont Medical Center. He has lived in Jeffersonville, VT for the past 32 years, where he has been involved in many local projects and organizations, including as a Trustee for the Village of Jeffersonville, The Old Town Hall restoration project, the Silo Space acquisition project, the Cambridge Youth Soccer program, The Cambridge Elementary School mentorship program, local Trails and Finance committees, and the Lamoille County Players community theater group. He continues to assist with the daily operations of the Cambridge Community Center and hopes to be able to help the center become a permanent fixture under long-term, nonprofit ownership.

    Peter is a veteran executive with over 60 years of leadership in the sports and recreation industry. He is known for conceiving bold projects and driving them through to successful implementation—building programs that merge learning, safety, and enjoyment while strengthening communities. From 1976 to 2008, as Director of the Snow Sport University (SSU) at Smugglers’ Notch Resort, Peter expanded a small ski school of 17 instructors into a nationally acclaimed program of more than 425 staff. Under his leadership, SSU was repeatedly ranked the #1 ski school in America, and Smugglers’ Notch earned its reputation as “America’s Family Resort.” Peter introduced transformative initiatives including day-long children’s camps, adult and family programs, snowboarding instruction, and the Smugglers’ Notch Adaptive Program (SNAP). He also conceived and led the development of a third mountain at the resort designed to give young and beginner skiers a safer, more enjoyable learning environment. His innovations helped redefine family-oriented snow sports education. A 50-year member of the Professional Ski Instructors of America, Peter received the North American Snow Sports Journalists Association Lifetime Achievement Award in 2009 for his lasting impact on instruction and resort design. Beyond the resort, Peter has applied the same project-driven focus to civic service. He served 21 years on the Lamoille North Supervisory Union School Board, currently sits on the Cambridge Select Board, the Jeffersonville Board of Adjustment, and the Cambridge Trails Committee, and is a founding member of the Cambridge Area Rotary. As Rotary president, he expanded the Winter Wellness Program, ensuring every local student experienced success through ski instruction. Now advising Cambridge 360, Peter champions the acquisition and expansion of the Cambridge Community Center—continuing a lifelong mission of conceiving, building, and sustaining programs that bring people together through recreation and shared purpose.

  • Managing Director Cambridge Community Center, Advisor

    Amanda has 15 years of coordinating, managing and coaching experience. She holds a Bachelors degree in Design/Photography with a minor in Coaching. Over the 15 years Amanda has coached all levels of youth sports from toddler soccer, to college basketball. She has experience as a program coordinator for post secondary programs, as well as retail supervisor. Amanda serves as the chair of the Cambridge VT Recreation Board. Amanda’s ability to scale content based on ability helps provide clear programming for all ages. Over the 9 years as managing director Amanda has helped to increase partnerships with organizations and municipalities to provide space and opportunity for those groups. In addition she has helped to provide opportunity for new and upcoming sports in a rural setting.

  • Current Owner and Advisor

    Russ is a founding co-owner of the Cambridge Community Center. His main areas of administrative responsibility have included payroll, taxes, banking, accounting, insurance, grants, Act 250 applications, corporate filings, and compliance reports. He also provides input on key programming, staffing, and marketing decisions. Russ holds a Bachelors degree in Economics and History from Williams College, and a Masters in Education from Johnson State College. He currently teaches in the Writing and Education departments at Johnson, where he wrote and received grants for a number of eco-education projects. In the past, he has served in the college’s Advising Department and with the JSC Upward Bound Program. At present, in addition to his teaching responsibilities, he serves as faculty advisor to the college’s student newspaper and also as faculty liaison to the track & field and cross-country teams. A resident of Fletcher, Russ views his community center involvement as one of the highlights of his life in Vermont. He regularly plays soccer and pickleball at the CCC and works out there as well. Along with his Cambridge 360 colleagues, Russ looks forward to continuing to support the project, both as a volunteer and a financial contributor, well into the future once the Cambridge Community Center is secured under C360 management.
